How it works

1. 1. Initial inquiry. Email [email protected] with the asset details, your home airport, and any documentation you have (provenance, GIA cert, original box and papers, vehicle title).
2. 2. Preliminary range. We respond within two hours during business hours with a loan-size estimate. If the estimate qualifies for travel coverage, we book the flight at that point — no commitment from you yet.
3. 3. Appointment confirmation. Black car meets you at LAX (or your destination LA airport — Burbank, John Wayne, or Long Beach if those are closer to where you would like to land). Appraisal at our Santa Monica flagship by default — or whichever of our four offices works best.
4. 4. Funded same day. You leave with funds. Your asset stays in our UL-rated vault under your name, fully insured at appraised value at our cost.
5. 5. Return flight. Same trip, return leg already booked. Most clients turn the entire process around in under 24 hours.

Sub-$250K loans — case-by-case

For loans between $50K and $250K, travel coverage is discussed individually. Factors we weigh: the specific asset (high-LTV pieces like Patek Nautilus or AP Royal Oak Jumbo are easier to justify than category-average pieces), the client relationship, and the route. We will not turn down a serious inquiry over a flight cost — email us and we will work it out.

Major markets we serve most

The travel program runs across all 50 states. The markets we see highest volume from are the ones with the strongest concentration of luxury collectors and the easiest LA flight routes:

What is covered

• Airfare. Round-trip — economy, business, or first depending on loan size and route.
• Ground transport. Black car service to and from the airport on the LA side. Standard sedan ride-share for sub-$500K loans; chauffeured black car or SUV for $500K+.
• Hotel. One night at a vetted property (Peninsula, Sunset Tower, or equivalent) for $1M+ loans where the appraisal runs long or the client prefers to stay over.
• Insurance during transit. The asset is covered under our standard policy from the moment it is in our possession through the loan term.

What is not covered

We do not cover companion travel, meals (other than during the appraisal appointment), or extended-stay accommodations. We do not pre-pay loans. The travel program is structured as a service expense — no part of it is added to the loan balance or finance charges.
